Austin Dog Rescue is a foster based non-profit organization that saves, fosters and places homeless dogs in Austin and several surrounding central Texas counties. ADR is not a shelter--generous donations and dedicated fosters, all of whom have opened their wallets, their hearts and their homes, provide loving and supportive temporary placement until the perfect forever home is found.
Our mission is to end the cycle of homeless animals by saving dogs from Central Texas Shelter that have no hope of a better life, encouraging our community to spay and neuter their pets, and providing education and resources to help pets live a long and healthy life, Read more about us here.

We are an all volunteer, foster home based program. We have NO paid employees. All positions held are volunteers that give their time and talents to promote our mission.
