Central Texas Fires is an 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization committed to generating awareness and support for Texas Volunteer Firefighters and Fire Survivors across the Central Texas Area.

 Central Texas Fires receives donations for citizens and corporations or businesses of all types. Typically, we provide individuals with household items, small kitchen appliances, food, clothes, gift cards, professional connections, and guidance. We make the effort to ensure that all donations are distributed where needed within the parameters of this organization. It is our intent that volunteer fire departments are assisted with their logistical needs, and individuals, victims, be provided with needed items to mitigate the losses incurred during such devastating and difficult occurrences such as fires and natural disasters.

 President - Angela Johnson

Angela has spent 12 years as Telecommunications Operator for different Law Enforcement Agencies. She is now a full time mother to three beautiful children. She has volunteered with First Baptist Church of Round Rock to serve meals at the Ronald McDonald House of Austin. In addition she has impacted her local community by delivering meals and other sundry items to the homeless. She is directly involved in the day to day operations of Congenital HI Kids.org  and Central Texas Fires.org

Treasure - Tim Barlow

Tim is an Air Force Veteran and has been in Law Enforcement for over 25 years.He has served in positions aranging from Patrol officer,D.A.R.E. officer, Explorer, Advisor, and Bexar County DARE Operations Officer.  He does numerous presentations at schools  and civic groups across the state of Texas on Drug/Alcohol Abuse, and Bullying.

Tim also teaches TCIC/NCIC classes in Texas on behalf of the Texas Department of Public Safety; a member of Texas Law Enforcement Explorer Advisors Association and heads up the Alamo Area Law Enforcement Explorer Competition, the Alamo Area Fire Explorer Competition, and the Alamo Area Explorer Academy.  Tim is a Master Peace Officer, TCLOSE instructor, and as well as being an instructor for the Radkids, and Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) programs.
