BURN UNIT assists burn victims and their families during times of healing and recovery, while providing awareness and a positive environment for our families, friends and sponsors. We are also committed to supporting those affected by P.T.S.D. and our Veterans. We strive to stay active within our community to assist with other charitable opportunities.
A testimony from one of our members, Shane Hill: On February 18, 2010 I was a victim of a terrorist attack on the IRS Building in Austin, TX. I sustained 2nd and 3rd degree burns on my face, neck, and back. My family has dealt with the aftermath of the incident (e.g., loss of wages, time lost with family and PTSD. Over time, with the help of my friends and our relationship with God, I continue to lead a great life. We started Burn Unit to help others as they regroup after burn incidents.
Burn Unit is interested in helping those that are affected by fire injuries, P.T.S.D., our Veterans, and anyone in our community that could benefit from our assistance. We accept individual sponsorships as well as business and corporate sponsorships (an EIN can be provided upon request). We also accept monetary, equipment, and supply donations. Every little bit helps and allows us to generate more money for our causes.
