The Blood and Tissue Center of Central Texas is a local 501c3 corporation and we are the exclusive provider and guardian of the community blood supply for 39 medical facilities in a ten-county service area of Central Texas. 

Our mission is to safeguard the community’s gifts of blood and tissue with uncompromising quality and excellence in customer service!

Please Note Recently Added Travel Deferral:

The Blood Center has implemented travel deferrals for anyone who has traveled to: Mexico, the Caribbean, South America, Central America, American Samoa, Fiji, Kosrae (Federate States of Micronesia), Marshall Islands, New Caledonia, Samoa, Tonga, Cape Verde, Papua New Guinea  in the last 28 days. You will be eligible to donate blood again 28 days from the date of  your return to the United States.
